Gigas is recognized as a “Significant Provider” by Gartner!

We are absolutely exultant, and we want to share this satisfaction with all of you. Gigas has been named “Significant Provider” in the last edition of Magic Quadrant for Cloud Infrastructure as Service 2013.  

Those who are connected with the IT Industry will know the world-wide relevance of this report, and its capacity to establish the main players of every industry.  At this moment there are 15 companies inside the quadrant, and 15 more named as significant or interesting. In our case, we don’t appear inside the quadrant for dimension reasons.  Just to give a view with more perspective, we would like to point at the new incorporations of this year: HP, IBM and Microsoft.

The most important fact for Gigas is that we have been able to overcome the highest demands from Gartner regarding our business model, ability of the organization and technical capacity of our cloud solutions (number and location of our data centers, level of provisioning, scalability, power, etc.)

With a lifespan of barely 21 months, this recognition means for Gigas an endorsement that encourage us to continue working in order to achieve our main goal of being the leader cloud infrastructure in Spain and Latin America.
