Gigas SIP is a solution based on IP technology that helps to optimise the functionalities of the IP PBX, while at the same time helping to make your investment profitable by creating a virtual data circuit through which your company's telephone calls will run.
The Gigas SIP service enables voice over IP (VoIP) connection from your virtual PBX to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) via a SIP trunk supported by an Internet access service.
This VoIP connection supports incoming/outgoing calls and includes a set of geographic numbers for identification and support.

The Gigas SIP service is accessed via an Internet connection provided by Gigas or a third-party service provider.
The connection between the VoIP equipment and Gigas SBC (Session Border Controller) supports VoIP SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) signalling. Supported speech codecs: G.711 and G.729.
Signalling can be encrypted through TLS (Transport Layer Security). It is also possible to encrypt audio media using SRTP (Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol).
Our Gigas SIP solutions include, for each simultaneous channel arranged, an Iberia 1,000 allowance, i.e. 1,000 minutes of traffic for Spanish and Portuguese networks (fixed, nomadic and mobile).
Each Gigas SIP Plan has a wide range of geographic numbers associated with it.
