GIGAS HOSTING, S.A. (“GIGAS”) discloses through this Privacy and Data Protection Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) information about the processing of personal data collected on users in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and other applicable legislation.

For GIGAS to provide the Services correctly or allow access to, and browsing on, the Website, we may require the following categories of data, where appropriate: identification data, postal or email addresses, financial and transaction data, professional data, commercial information and personal circumstances.
We do not process any data that are especially protected. All such data are provided by the User in commercial offers, contractual proposals or requests for information. The User must notify GIGAS of any change to the data it provides as soon as possible.
GIGAS processes personal data for the purpose of managing different activities inherent in providing its services and carrying out certain actions, such as performing and developing the services subscribed to by the User, carrying out commercial actions and advertising mailings, administrative management, billing, accounting and legal obligations, managing Users of information society services and installing cookies, or answering queries and sending information related to the User's interest.
If the User is obliged to provide their personal data for the performance of a contract or provision of a service, or for compliance with legal obligations or other obligations arising with government authorities, GIGAS shall bring this to their attention.
GIGAS will not create any commercial profiles based on personal data or perform any automated decision-making on the User's commercial profile.
The legitimate basis shall be the correct performance of the contract or provision of the service, the consent of the data subject or GIGAS' legitimate interest, as appropriate.
GIGAS is the recipient of the data. However, it may provide the data collected on the User to third parties. Such disclosure shall in any event comply with applicable regulations and the obligations to disclose this to, and obtain the consent from the User where required. GIGAS must ensure that third-party recipients of the data implement the same levels of security regarding the personal data of the User as GIGAS and shall be bound by legal and/or contractual obligations, where necessary, to process the data private and securely.
GIGAS may also disclose the data to government agencies and competent authorities where required by legislation in force.
GIGAS shall only store the data to the extent necessary for the purpose for which the data are collected and in accordance with the legitimate basis of the processing.
